Popped in for a cuppa and cake. Lovely homemade carrot cake, millionaire shortbread, pot of tea and americano all for less than a tenner. The service was quick and the staff friendly. I also noticed how thorough the tables and chairs were cleaned when vacated. Good to see this.
Spacious corner cafe, good food. I had delicious bean burger and chips washed down with a large diet pepsi for 11. Attentive, friendly staff. Simple and clean decor. Thoroughly recommend.
Delicious lunch with my Mum today. Everything from paninis, jacket potatoes, breakfast menu and fancy cakes. Willows is known as a cosy, welcoming cafe, popular with families and mum's/babies. It was busy today but the staff were cheerful, attentive and still had a fast service for the lunch time rushes. I'd not been in for years and was glad we made a stop today. Good lunch, good variety and price, we'll be back 5*
Really good service and food. The staff were very efficient and friendly. We both had soup and a sandwich. The soup was homemade carrot and parsnip and was delicious. I had a tuna sandwich and my wife the sweet chilli chicken. Both were very tasty and well filled. Good Covid practices too
After a bad experience in Costa, my wife Shelia and I visited here the other week on a visit to some relatives in Scotland. The home made soup was delicious, Shelia actually ordered a second helping. The service was exceptional and young gentleman who looked after us really made our visit special. It’s nice to feel homely and welcomed when you are so far from home. We also had a panini before we went and explored Broughty Ferry Castle.
Excellent food, good value, and a warm atmosphere. Would advise booking ahead for larger groups as they weren't able to accommodate our party of seven. Also, the service on our final round of tea and coffee was very slow. Would still recommend though, because the food was very good indeed.
A fantastic coffee shop which I used for breakfast three times during a weekend stay nearby. A warm, friendly welcome and excellent service with a smile, the breakfast was freshly cooked, an excellent quality and really good value for money. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this place for breakfast and although I didn't eat any of the cakes on offer they looked absolutely wonderful. I hope I'll be able to visit again in the future.
After my recent. I was most shocked to read the recent review stating that staff are miserable. This could not be further from the truth. I was served by a lovely young gentleman who resembled a Brunette Ken Doll with the most gorgeous eyes. The atmosphere created by the staff is homely and welcoming, on my next visit to Broughty Ferry I will most certainly be making a visit to this lovely cafe.
